20 Months Old

So where do I start. Carter is 20 months old he gets more amazing each month!! He is talking like crazy but the sentences aren't coming together yet. He is saying shoe, please, thank you, Josh ha ha he says "Where's Josh?" Love it. He is going on the potty already! He has tinkled 4 times a poo'd once. I tell him its potty time, he takes his diaper off and "tries" to go hah were working on it. Then he will go get himself a new diaper. He is so smart but cant praise everything terrible two has hit! He is telling me NO all the time. He is growing up so fast hes adorable.

Job is coming to an end, to long of days for little guy. The pay isn't matching the hard work. I'm in school and working hard! I'm ready for a change. Going to stay home with him for awhile until he turns Two and I can get him into the school I want. I'll work on weekends which will be hard but it will work for now. He's eating so healthy Ive been looking up recipes and making him Broccoli grilled cheese, carrot and raisin wheat pancakes etc. He eats better than I do!

Josh is going threw the radiation treatments, it was emotional for me when he started and was rough for him. His tongue is getting the worst of it, hes getting threw it and its almost over! Say a prayer! Carter and I have gotten very sick in the past month, we caught strep throat twice. For children under two it is rare for a child to get strep let alone twice. I loaded him on vitamin c and immune boosters. I got such a bad case of strep I was in the hospital with a fever 104.2 it was so bad! When kids are in daycare the viruses spread all over. No more being sick!

My family has been amazing lately of stepping in a helping out financially and all around. I don't know what I would do without them!! I really appreciate all the help from everyone around me! Josh and I got professional photos done at MPG there great and we just got his school pictures back so there is tons of new great photos to come soon!!

Feel like writting

So I am working 6 days a week. Stressful!! Poor little Carter man it's hard on him. Luckily I said a prayer and now have some half days off. I can't wait to finally spend some one on one time with Carter. I am looking forward to seeing my girls threw the week & my family of coarse!! Im taking online classes at night to get my child care certificate. I have 50 hours to go :( I feel very accomplished lately & I am SOOOO shocked how Carter has changed. I feel like each week hes changed.

I get to spend some whole days with him in his classroom now. I watched how he is with his teachers and his little pals and its like hes finally at home with them. There are still days where he cries a little and wants his mommy but hes loving school. He eats all his lunch at school, nap time-walks over to his mat, pops that binkie and goes right to sleep!!! I am so proud :D I was watching him play today and he stacked 5 blocks on top of each other, I thought that was pretty good.

Were changing Carter's room right now. It's a beach theme very cute. Josh and I are making almost all of the decorations which makes is special. I will put some pics up when it is done.

Life is really good right now. Missing family lately need more time for that & friends <3

Carter has been sleeping better! Lots more water little thing needs his aqua to keep it moving. He is walking full time. He looks like a little crab hes too cute! He had his first bloody nose the other night. He was running he likes to go way to fast & he leaned in for a toy which slipped out from his hands. He fell face first into the tile. Bloody nose & a swollen forehead. It made me so sick to think that he was that hurt. I felt so bad, poor guy :(. Luckily he bounced right back.

On the good note he has slept well for three nights. He is blowing his own nose now! Cleans everything with his baby wipes, even his face & hair. He takes his diaper off and goes to throw it away which we got from Chase! Well he started pulling it off but we got the idea from Jenn to tell him throw it away. He drinks from a straw & feeds himself. He can almost open the door. Brushes his teeth & puts it away. He is so smart I could go on all day!!
I printed out his birthday picture finally they will be on here tomorrow.

SCHOOL= Great!
He started out the morning well. He cried a little but then they did finger paint & shaving cream. My kids were behaving so I got to get a peak. He was so happy & proud f himself it made my day!! He ate all his lunch & layed right down on his mat & took a 2 hour nap.

Poor Josh,
He went to his doctors apt. today & unfortunately the tumor hasn't gone away. It isn't growing but its not going anywhere. So next step is radiation. He is so scared I feel horrible for him. I'm so worried about his health in so many ways. Like strength, weight lose & the tumor its self. Thank god we are still living at home. I pray that one day Josh can look back and say "10 years ago I had tumors....." I wish it was in the past. Love him.

Started out by sleeping in thanks to Josh & he cleaned the whole kitchen. What a doll haha! Today went to my dad's we went to lunch & had a great time. Then we headed off to Cameron's birthday it was so good to see him & everyone else! All those cute babies :D Had a hard week at work. Not going so well! Have about six moms calling me for in home child care. Think that would be better. Anyways he re are some more photos!

I am so far behind in pictures, since my last blog I have taken like 200 pictures. I will definitely get some up soon. So much has gone on and changed. Lets see Carter turned one!! Which was so exciting and he had a great time. I will put those up soon. I started working and thankfully I can be there with my little man. I work at his daycare. He is having a hard time still. He is confused because I am in the room next to him and he can hear me but doesn't understand why I wont come get him. The other day he put his little fingers under the door it killed me :(. It's so hard for me to hear him cry I want to run over and hug him! He is learning to be independent. It will benefit us both. It's a long day, hes away from me until 2 and them I am in his class until 5. My class is two year olds and they keep me busy! So cute though!! Loosing weight still be much slower than I would like! Everything is good and I can tell it's going to be a great year!!

I spent the day with this gorgeous red head named Rachel :D She bought me lunch which im getting Cameron something in return, Cameron and Carter played so cute together. Cameron is such a sweet child. He showed him how to crawl on his knees and Carter followed it was too cute. Having him play over there with Cameron's toys made me realize he needs some big boy toys like blocks etc.. He was a lot more entertained with his toys. I am going to the park with Diana and Jenn. Are the best & so helpful! I am so thankful for my home life & that my family is so supportive. I am thankful to be helped so much & that they have taken care of Carter as if he was their own son. I don't know what I would do without all of them. Carter will benefit from this because I am able to stay home with him. Josh is on his way over, going to get him out of the house for awhile.

Jenn, Diana & I have been working out really good!! I am pumped to loose this weight. It's fun for the kids & great for us all to encourage one another!

So I've been very stressed lately not to mention I have had really bad migraine. I am just feeling very sorry for Josh and his situation and I feel helpless that I can't make it better/go away. I love him so much and it's hard having to deal with this. I really need to figure out a job or daycare situation money is way to tight. It's making me nervous. On the light note Carter has been so much fun this week. We've been outside a lot this week and it's been tons of fun!

So today was Aubree's shower. They got everything they need and then some!! Im very happy for them! It was a great shower good people, food & presents. Josh is doing better but I've been running so much we really haven't had time together. Looking forward to tomorrow ready to loose this weight!! I am so depressed about my weight, its coming of starting tomorrow....no starting NOW! I didn't have my camera so I don't have any pictures. Will have to steal some. Goodnight.

So this morning is the morning of Josh's surgery I am very nervous. I got no call from him this morning and can't get a hold of anyone. Carter was really sick last night I guess his cold never left and now its deep in his chest. Taking him to the doctors. For now going on a walk to get my mind of Josh procedure. Carter has been eating little rice puffs for the past month but today for the first time he pinched one with his fingers and fed himself. He is crawling and trying to climb everything! He feeds himself the bottle almost all the time now which is nice. He is waving every now and then I want to record it. It's so adorable. He is now 18lbs!! He is getting so big :D I'm going to find a job over night now or work part time in the early morning. I am going back to school! I am going to take two online classes to bring up my g.p.a and then I qualify for a free tuition and medical assisting program at "Daytona State College". Wish me luck.

So we are all sick and miserable. I miss my Dad & Grandparents a lot!! Pray that we all make it threw this Hurricane I am worried hopefully it will be alright and pass threw quickly! So I have switched all of Carter's bottles to BPA Free. After readings tons of articles I am convinced. They are finding it is causing genetic problems in animals. There are so many facts and articles out there proving it. I can't stand when people don't take it seriously or say "we were fine", your just being selfish and lazy not to trade bottles. I bought the MAM bottles they weren't expensive and Avent makes BPA Free sippy cups. Wouldn't you rather have your child safe?

So today Carter & I went to see the neighbors where we used to live. They were so excited to see him. They think he is so cute & he's a good mix of both. Then I met Robin for lunch, Carter started making a new weird noise that makes him throw up haha. Then we went to baby'srus and picked out things until I realized I forgot my wallet! They will have to wait until Friday. So Josh & I have been getting along really well. Our family is coming back together & I love every minute. I should be working out but im being lazy & it's so late. Well better get movin or i'll gain just sitting here.

Since I am obsessive about taking pictures of Carter I am going to have to send off 250 pictures to Walmart to be printed out so I can clear some space on here ha. If you want some let me know :D

Proud Day

CARTER IS 8 MONTHS OLD!! He has changed so much in the last month. He is saying "dadda" reaching out, pushing me away, trying to climb out of the crib, throwing temper tantrums etc..! He is also snuggling more I love it!! He laughs all the time hes a very happy baby!

So lately I have noticed that I am very pleased with most of the people around me in my life now. I have met some really wonderful people in the past two years. I want to spend more time around these people! Otherwise I have realized that since I have found more mothers to be around and just "quality" friends I am learning to not be so judgmental and make mature decisions. To those of you in my life now Thank you for being there for me!!

So I had a wonderful birthday!! Officially legal now. Josh is old so this was my weekend haha just kidding. I got the best gifts from my family spent time with my Daddy this week and went to lunch with my Mom, Aunt & Danielle Saturday. Spent the day with birthday boy Josh and went to dinner with some friends that night. Today ate birthday lunch at the Coates house it was wonderful. Got a sweet card from them and a gift! I love all of my family and so thankful I have these people in my life.

I went & stayed at the condo this week & had the best time!! I walked, shopped & relaxed. I spent some time with the neighbors down stairs haha they were so nice! They even did my laundry for me how nice is that! I loved spending time with Josh we had a really good week! I love it there I didn't want to leave! I think that will be my future town within the next year. I would love to live there! I plan to go again before I start working. I am looking forward to it!

This weekend spent time with the family, I really relaxed. Got some sun & now paying for it. It's worth the pain. Josh set up the high chair today and we used it for the first time. I got kind of emotional looking at all these photos, I remember getting all these gifts at the shower thinking it's going to take so long for him to fit in these things. Here we are already 6 months later. Time flies. I am so thankful that I was able to stay home with him until this point so I could enjoy all these moments. Goodnight.

Church- Thankfully today gave me time to clear all my negative thoughts and view life differently. I know now what I need in life and what I don't. I don't want to take life for granted or waste time trying to get the things I want more than I necessarily need. I can't change the ones around me I can only change myself. We all have reasons for the way we act and we need to spend time figuring out why that is. I have wasted worries on what people think. I only need now to care what I think.

I have spent all my time trying to control other peoples actions because I have been hurt so much by others. People are going to treat you how they want to regardless how good of a person you are. I guess thats what hurts the most. I wish people wouldn't take everyday life pleasures for granted such as family, love and a happy home. I think now I have matured. I want to be happy and be proud of myself. I want to have strength for Carter and myself. I want him to have the best life that I can give him and that begins with myself. My actions will always affect others around me. I will make sure those are the right actions.

I want to enjoy Carter's every moments and enjoy my life. I do not want to live in fear anymore or live being hurt be others.

This will be a healing process and will take time but I look forward to the outcome.

Please pray for the ones you love and enjoy the time you have with them. Ask for forgiveness and change now not tomorrow, but know that there is no perfection.

So here are the first set of his portraits there will be more to come in October. I will be getting a very Big package done then. I have been doing well with my weight lose Ive been waking 4 miles a day and Carter loves it. Other than that I am going to start interviewing some nanny's so that I can go back to work. Carter is doing well, we switched around the medicine a little but hes back on his previous medicine and happy as can be. The feedings aren't going as well hes playing games with it and it gets all over!

I am in a REALLY bad mood...I can't wait to go to sleep. My mom arrived safely in Nashville shes really excited. I'm really happy for her, this trip was well needed. Carter just barfed all over the place because I gave him his Tylenol to fast. Poor little guy. The night is winding down with a little baby Einstein and a clean crib.

My First Mother's Day!!

What a wonderful day! I have never been so HAPPY in my entire life!! I have been glowing all day! I am such a proud Mommy! I am so in love with my little man! I had a great day with my family & got some really nice gifts. My two favorites were my beautiful engraved Carter necklace that Joshua got me (he listened this time) hah, and the new weight watchers scale! Haha whoohoo! Im worn out from a long day with a teething overtired little boy. He is finally peacefully asleep. Well for a couple hours : )

Jenn's shower was last Saturday and it was adorable! The theme was was pink & brown and it was really cute. I am so excited to meet her little girl! If Tyler is that good looking I know she will be beautiful!

Carter had a really hard night last night but is much MUCH better today!! I am really sick right now and my stomach is absolutely killing me. I don't know what is wrong but I have been like this for the week. I am in a lot of pain. Ouch. Anyways tomorrow is going to be a proactive day and Carter is going to grandma Robin's house.

As you all know he has a had a horrible time with acid reflux. It has been so sad to see him go threw this pain. There has been so many times I wish I could have switched places with him so that he wouldn't have to go threw that. Good news is that he is getting better!! I have prayed every night for this! We have him on stronger medicine and now he is beginning to eat baby food! It's adorable and he is chunking up nicely. Here are some photos of him at 4 months and his first feeding, Enjoy!

So I decided that I am going to start cleaning houses on the weekends until Carter is able to go to daycare. I am going back to school for early education it's something I have always wanted to do! I have already made many good changes in my life and I am determined to make more! I will not let anyone or anything stop me from being happy. My life is CARTER! So I have a lot of good things to say about Carter & I will get to that but this has been the worst weekend in my entire life. I feel absolutely betrayed, rejected, forgotten, used and heartbroken. Words can't even express how sad I am right now. I can't even stop for two seconds to think that it will be get better. Losing your first love is the worst feeling you can imagine. Ive given my life and heart into it and it all just fell apart! I want my best friend back I want my life back.

So I'm absolutely loving all the new things hes beginning to do from waking up to him smiling at me to him discovering his feet & hands. He's beginning to belly laugh & it melts my heart I love it!!
